Our journey began right here in Central Iowa when our own grandmother passed away. Standing in the center of her home, surrounded by decades of memories, our family felt completely frozen. We didn’t just see items to liquidate—we saw a beautiful sanctuary of family history. We realized very quickly that closing a chapter on a loved one’s home shouldn’t feel like a cold, corporate transaction. It requires a gentle personal touch.
Combining Rachelle’s background in estate sales and auctions with Jocelin’s empathetic heart and eye for vintage design, we founded New Wave in 2026 to redefine how families experience life’s major transitions.
